2008/2009 Australia spring and summer fashion week was held in Sydney recently. More than 100 designers from Australia and Asia Pacific participated in the fashion week.
Australia fashion week is Australia's largest fashion show. In 1996, it started to show the local designers to the world and launch its own brand.
On this Australian fashion week, there are 80 releases from Australia and the Asia Pacific region, including personal works, women's wear, men's wear, men's and women's garments, new generation design and fashion design organizations.
The Australian Fashion Week is the most important activity in the fashion industry in Oceania and the Asia Pacific region. It provides designers with a platform to display their products on the international scale. On the 5 day agenda, there are about 10 Fashion releases on average every day.
