In March this year, the Ministry of industry and tourism of Argentina announced the final anti-dumping measures against footwear products originating in China.

However, this result does not seem to satisfy Argentina.

Recently, Argentina suspected Chinese footwear products to circumvent anti-dumping measures.

Malaysia

The re export to Argentina has led to an investigation into the origin of footwear imported from Malaysia.

According to the insiders, Argentina's protection measures for its footwear industry are expected.

However, only because of the surge in imports of footwear products this year, it is doubtful that China's shoe manufacturers are evasive.

Argentina

The spirit is frustrated, but it can be described as "high spirited" in the field of trade protection. It has become one of the countries that take the most anti-dumping measures in the world.

According to the report issued by the global trade early warning Organization (GTA), China is the most heavily affected country by Argentina's trade protection measures.

According to GTA statistics, since the Pittsburgh summit of the group of twenty in September 2009, Argentina has implemented 75 measures, of which 33 refer directly to China, and China has thus become an important battleground for Argentina's trade protection.

In March this year, the Ministry of industry and tourism of Argentina announced the final anti-dumping measures against footwear products originating in China.

Argentina sets the lowest reference price for all footwear imported from China except for orthopaedic shoes, skates and ski shoes. The FOB price of each pair of shoes is at least $13.38, and the Chinese imported footwear products below this standard will be subject to anti-dumping duties.

However, this result does not seem to satisfy Argentina.

Recently, Argentina suspected Chinese footwear products to circumvent.

Anti-dumping

As a result, a survey on the origin of footwear imported from Malaysia was carried out in Argentina through Malaysia.

At present, the relevant industry organizations have not been informed about the situation.

Suspicion is far fetched.

According to the news of the Fair Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, in August 13th, Argentina issued a decree to start a survey on the origin of footwear imported from Malaysia.

The decree pointed out that since March 2010, when Argentina implemented anti-dumping measures on shoes originating in China, the number of footwear products imported from China has dropped significantly, but the number of imported shoes from Malaysia has surged, while in 2007 and 2008, no such products have been imported from horses.

Therefore, according to the relevant domestic laws and regulations, Argentina began to investigate the origin of shoes imported from Malaysia to verify the authenticity and validity of its certificate of origin.
