Japan Chemical Fiber Association "industry news" reported that since January 2011,

European Union

take

Preferential tariff

The rules of origin (GSP) were revised.

In the field of fiber products, it has reduced the number of developing countries (LDC).

Origin standard

At present, knitted apparel (HS61), cloth and clothing (HS62) need to carry out two processes (weaving / weaving + sewing) in the beneficiary country to achieve the origin standard. In the future, only one project in the beneficiary country is required to achieve the standard of origin and become the object of preferential tariff (zero tariff).

This measure will promote the development of China with weak textile production and export to the European Union.

Now, developing countries that export more to the EU include Bangladesh and Kampuchea.
