About inspiration
The dense mangrove scenery in California and the coastline kissed by sunshine all the year round are taken to Chelsea of New York.
One of the highlights of this series is the blue and white printed skirt of several Chinese blue and white porcelain. Although it has nothing to do with the American customs, the imagination of ghost horse still makes our brand very attractive.
About design
Sister designers Kate Mulleavy and Laura Mulleavy have just won the Cooper Hewett National Design Award, and have released the most commercialized 2011 spring summer series.
In the past few seasons, style has deliberately created strange atmosphere to turn fashion into sexy.
The background music of the show is the Everybody "s Talking" of California folk singer Harry Nilsson in the 60s of last century, so that the distant memories of the two sisters are presented in the lazy lyrics.
China's blue and white porcelain is a key element in the show. By restoring the texture of blue and white porcelain, we can create a Rodarte style. It is undoubtedly a summary of the whole show and an interpretation of beauty.

Dries Van Noten: handsome ceramic woman
About inspiration
I have been studying the works of Jef Verheyen, a Belgian painter who died in 1984. He is also considering how to pform his painting skills into a way to capture light.
The final result is the moire effect. When combined with Chinese ceramics, the designs are particularly outstanding.
About design
Compared with the past series, this season is no longer vague and clearer.
The designer displayed a simple, loose, and slightly wrinkled broad leggings. The jacket, skirt and jacket all used a light reddish gradient. He also used a gentle and elegant oriental garden pattern, with flower embroidery, delicate and colorful sequins, dazzling structural jacket, and pparent cloak.
This season's show relaxed and perfectly interpreted the theme of Dries Van Noten's "handsome woman".

Haider Ackermann: Cool Oriental Zen
About inspiration
My inspiration is obscure. Kurosawa's movie is in my mind, and Elvis's bathrobe with a golden lining.
I think the beautiful gesture of these things in my subconscious role makes this work present Oriental style.
About design
Although the song of "Love Me Tender" did not appear on Haider Ackermann's wonderful show, clothing itself still emanated a unique emotional charm.
The slow pace of the show, the opening dress is a black motorcycle leather jacket, is reduced to only belt and vest, models dressed in black goat leather trousers, low waist and tight, waist tied with the inverted silk knot, it looks as if the cloth was pulled out.
The robes of the show are casual and simple, and the great gowns of the lingering charm all reveal Oriental customs. They are like ancient Chinese cardigan blouses.
Whether it is a narrow long skirt, or a black soft dress and coat, it looks as if it is hung by some strings and naturally hangs down. The cutting technology plays a key role here.

Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti: restore real China
About inspiration
China and the East are often the inspiration for many of my series. For the west, China represents a sense of escape, mystery and sensual pleasure.
Chinese women are the representatives of beautiful and charming beauty.
Besides, China today is not only a country with ancient history and traditional culture, but also a symbol of strength, modernization and future.
For these reasons, when I was designing my young series Philosophy, I wanted to give it the impression of China. I chose cheongsam and other Chinese traditional costumes as inspiration and printed 3D patterns on them.
About design
The floor decoration of the show is enough to explain the general story of the Philosophy brand this season, which is covered with Chinese style prints.
Ferretti usually keeps a dense sense of aesthetics in her secondary line, and there is not much deviation in every season. The colorful dress is the characteristic of Philosophy girl.
In detail, Ferretti exaggerated the use of Chinese buttons, Qipao profile and dragon embroidery.
