Research And Development Of Functional Corn Fiber Composite Yarn
The "functional corn fiber composite yarn" project, which was undertaken by Jiangsu Dongtai textile and Garment Co., Ltd. and Jiangnan University, has been researched and developed successfully in recent two years, and has been put into industrial production.
The technology combines the completely biodegradable corn fiber with the degradable antibacterial fiber and natural fiber, and compounded the functional corn fiber composite yarn.
The product can be widely used in the textile industry. As the raw material of textile fabrics, it can be made into a new type of fabric which integrates antibacterial, health care and biodegradability, making corn fiber successfully industrialized and commercialized.
The product has been declared a national invention patent and has been awarded the title of "Jiangsu high and new technology product".
After the implementation of the project, the production capacity of the annual production capacity of 425 tons of functional corn fiber composite yarn will be built.
