How Can China'S Retail Industry Lag Behind?

The list of China's top 100 retailers is a barometer of the retail industry. Its statistical data, like sketching, generally outline the development of the whole industry.

After ten years of development, the top three companies of China's top 100 chain companies can be said to be basically stable, and are sold by three retail giants such as Su Ningyun, Gome and Huarun.

The sales volume of these three enterprises in 2015 accounted for twenty percent of the total sales volume of the top 100 chain enterprises.

Review of 2006

Liqun group ranked twenty-fourth in the top 100 in 2005 and 2015, but its sales increased from 8 billion 229 million yuan to 24 billion 240 million yuan.

Moreover, with the expansion of the scale of retail stores, the number of stores in Liqun group has not increased, falling from 643 in 2005 to 580 in 2015.

To a certain extent, this explains that to increase sales volume is not the only way to expand stores.

At the same time, the 28 - place Jinjiang Metro and the 57 - place Chengdu red flag chain were the same.

However, the number of stores has expanded significantly as sales growth has increased.

In the past ten years, Jinjiang Metro has opened 55 new stores, and the Chengdu red flag chain has opened 1667 new stores.
