The result of the case came out, and PF Flyers continued NB while CONVERSE failed to sue.

Converse sued the New Balance company for copying the design of the classic brand shoes Chuck Taylor All Star, claiming that the defendant had infringed the trademark right.

In addition, the plaintiff has prosecuted more than 30 shoe brands for the trademark involved, including: Tory Burch, H&M, Walmart and Sketchers.

Converse was bought by sports giant Nike in 2003, and its classic footwear Chuck Taylor All Star was awarded trademark protection in 2013.

In December 2014, New Balance filed a document with the federal court of Chester, requesting the court to clarify that PF Flyers was not guilty of plagiarism Converse trademark and submitted a series of trademark registration applications.

In a statement to the court, New Balance said that Converse's radical actions put the Brand Company in a similar shoe design position in an extremely unfavorable position. Therefore, the law will protect these brands, and PF Flyers is one of them.

In the case, New Balance also found a statement that PF Flyer had used the design portfolio for decades, and the brand still has the power to use the design.

Although PF Flyers came out 25 years later than Converse, it was a supplier of the US Army from 1950s to 60s because of its comfort.

Since then, PF FLYERS has gained popularity in the United States and has become one of the famous canvas shoes factories.

New Balance has said earlier that it will do its best to protect PF Flyer.

Design, because the shoe design is the classic product of brand for decades.

The US International Trade Commission pointed out that too many shoe brands had similar designs for decades ago, so the Converse Chuck Taylor trademark was invalid.

The ruling results show that PF Flyers can continue to sell its classic shoe shoes to consumers.

Paul Gauron, executive vice president and general counsel of New Balance, said the company was very excited by the support of the US International Trade Commission. The company highly respected the effective trademark design rights of its competitors and would strictly enforce its trademark protection rights.

PF Flyers was founded in 1933.

The famous canvas shoes in history are also disbanded.

In 1972, Converse seized the opportunity to buy shares of PF Flyers from BF Goodrich.

However, because of the antitrust agreement stipulated by the federal court, Converse only reserved the trademark rights of Jack Purcell shoes.

Since then, brand equity has changed hands several times in the next few years, and finally got the brand rights of New Balance in 2001 and began to revitalize the brand.
