The eighth member conference of the association and the eight annual meeting of the directors will be held at Rainbow Hotel, Shanghai.

2016 is the opening year for the comprehensive implementation of the 13th Five-Year plan. It is also a critical year for the pformation and upgrading of enterprises and the supply side reform under the new normal economic situation. It coincides with the five year election year of the China Leather Association.

At the appointed time, the vice chairman, executive director, director and member unit of the leather industry's production, management and research institutes, the representatives of all leather industry associations, chambers of Commerce, leaders of various leather special regional governments will gather together to discuss the development of the industry.

The central theme of this conference is identified as "new vision of new era, new impetus and new development".

The general election is an important agenda at the meeting.

The Seventh Council will make a systematic summary of the work in the past five years, and will elect eighth members of the Governing Council, executive director and vice chairman.

The outgoing and new chairman will give a cordial handover and address separately.

At the meeting, the leaders of the relevant ministries and commissions of the state will provide guidance for the development of leather industry.

This paper analyzes the trend of macroeconomic operation and the trend of China's industrial policy during the 13th Five-Year, especially promoting the special operation of the "three products" in the consumer goods industry.

We should expand effective supply level, enhance brand competitiveness and promote brand internationalization.

At the meeting, the leather history of China, which was compiled over the past eight years, will hold the first ceremony.

The book takes the development course of the long history of ancient China, modern times and modern history as the main line, and records the ancient and legendary leather industry's magnificent development process with more than 200 million words in the ocean. With abundant historical events, it has written the great achievements of the leather industry in China's creation, development and creation of the world's leather power.

A grand ceremony will also be held at the meeting.

These include: the leather industry "the National Labor Day Medal", "the national model worker small home" award ceremony, the co construction of the leather characteristic regional awarding ceremony, the leather enterprise credit evaluation result promulgation and the awarding ceremony, the leather specialized market (shop) grade recognition result promulgation and the awarding instrument type and so on.
