34 sets of non heritage fashion show

The 34 set of fashion items based on the elements of Dongguan's non heritage elements are divided into 4 chapters: "humanities", "auspicious dragon", "skill" and "folk custom".

Behind these dreamy combinations, more than 40 outstanding domestic designers have been creating after a long period of deliberation since June this year. They are "the beauty of intangible beauty of Dongguan" and 2017 of Dongguan's original costume design activities.

Through the interpretation of the models, the traditional folk culture of Dongguan, the fine art of costume design, and the splendid style of Chinese culture after being inherited and innovated are most vividly displayed.

At the same time, many non heritage inheritors are showing their skills on the stage.

In the collection ceremony, 34 sets of non heritage fashion works were included in the collection of the intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall of Dongguan cultural center.

The next batch of works will be exhibited permanently in the exhibition hall, and will be shown on the streets of various towns in Dongguan according to the actual situation.

Liu Ying, deputy director of the Dongguan cultural center, said: "we have invited these works back to Dongguan and collected into the exhibition hall. On the one hand, we are going to show the new achievements of Dongguan's non heritage creation, and on the other hand, we want to effectively protect these works, so that more Dongguan citizens can experience the classic charm of the intangible cultural heritage."

Further promoting non Heritage Heritage

When the works were put into the pavilion and the performance was completed, the 2017 months' "beauty of discovering the beauty of Dongguan" and the original costume design activities of Dongguan were also put to an end.

The cross-border cooperation between the heritage and clothing is a brand new attempt and bold exploration of Dongguan cultural center, through creative fashion as the carrier.

The way of exhibition has promoted the combination of intangible cultural heritage and costume design, and laid the foundation for the docking of cultural industry and garment industry. It has attracted more and more citizens to visit non heritage and non heritage exhibition hall, and more and more enterprises are looking for the development and cooperation of non heritage products.
