Jiangsu Market Supervision Bureau Sampled 40 Batches Of Functional Textiles 3 Batches Failed.

In April 7th, the website of Jiangsu province market supervision bureau published the "functional textiles quality supervision and spot check analysis report". In the 4 quarter of 2019, the Jiangsu provincial market supervision bureau carried out supervision and spot checks on the quality of functional textiles. A total of 40 batches of products were selected and 37 batches were qualified, with a pass rate of 92.5%.

I. industry profile

Functional textiles refer to textiles in addition to their own basic uses, they also have antibacterial or anti mite, mildew proof, mosquito repellent, moth proofing, flame retardant, wrinkle free, ironing, oil repellent, water repellent, anti ultraviolet, antistatic, infrared physiotherapy, negative ion health care and so on. They mainly involve clothing, bedding, special duty clothing and other products. There are about 600 functional textile production enterprises in China, mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong and other provinces. There are more than 100 functional textile production enterprises in Jiangsu, distributed in Nantong, Suzhou, Changzhou and other cities.

This time a total of 40 batches of functional textiles were selected, among which 15 batches were sampled in production enterprises, and 25 batches of samples purchased by electronic business platform.

(three) spot check results

The 40 batches of 4 functional textiles, including antibacterial matching bed products, anti mite matching bed products, far-infrared matching bed products and antibacterial towels, were eligible for 37 batches, with a pass rate of 92.5%. Among them, spot checks of 18 batches of products produced by Jiangsu enterprises, qualified 18 batches, with a pass rate of 100%.

(four) quality analysis

The sampling results showed that the unqualified items were 2 indicators of pH value and fiber content.

1, pH value. The pH value is an index reflecting the acid-base of textiles. PH value is too high or too low, which may destroy the pH balance of human skin and cause skin allergy or infection. The spot checks found that 2 batches of products pH value is not qualified.

2. Fiber content. Fiber content reflects the true properties of textile fabrics, and is also one of the main reference indexes for consumers when buying. The spot checks found that the fiber content of 1 batches of products is not qualified, and fiber content is inconsistent with the logo.

Three, consumption proposals

1, check the logo. To see whether the logo is complete, whether the declared functional indicators indicate the relevant standards on the labels.

2, pay attention to price. The research and development of functional textiles has higher technical and scientific research requirements for production enterprises. The cost of production is higher than that of ordinary textiles, and rational choice should be made when buying, so we should not blindly covet cheap products.

3, reasonable use. At present, commercial functional textiles are mostly processed through the finishing method to make fabrics with antibacterial or anti mite properties. The washing resistance of such products is relatively general. After a long period of use and washing, it may lead to the failure of antibacterial or anti mites.
